Dec. 04--A 27-year-old Gainesville man remained in the Cooke County Jail on Monday after he was indicted on a charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child, a first-degree felony.
Ethan Jay Callihan reportedly sexually assaulted a 9-year-old male at a home in Cooke County, according to Cooke County Sheriff Terry Gilbert.
Gilbert said Child Protective Services reported the incident to his office.
Callihan was initially booked into jail on Oct. 3, and his bond was set at $40,000. He was released the following day.
After his indictment last month by a Cooke County grand jury a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Callihan was booked into the jail on Nov. 25, and his bond is now set at $75,000.
